ITR 1 Sahaj e-Filing form AY 2014-15 is an essential income tax return form (itr 1) Sahaj for Indian citizens e-Filing income tax return with Income Tax Department. Using your Form 16, Income Tax Act 1961 and Income Tax rules obligate Indian citizens for e-Filing of return for AY 2014-15 for their returns with the Income Tax Department at the end of financial year. Form 16 can be used for Income tax return be e-filing before a specified due date for AY 2014-15. Form 16 is issued by your employer. Return form is issued by the Income Tax Department of India and is an integral part of the rules laid down by the Government of India for filing Income Tax Returns (itr 1) Sahaj for AY 2014-15.

Steps for efiling Income Tax in India
  1. 1). Once you send your Form 16 and your ITR 1 (Sahaj) is filed, you will receive a 1 page Acknowledgement (ITR-V) on your e-mail id from us.

  2. 2). You are required to Print and sign the copy of ITR-V in "BLUE" ink.

  3. 3). Receive an email from income tax department that your signed ITR-V has been received

  4. 4). In case you fail to receive any confirmation on e-mail, you can write to support@efiler.in and we will assist you.

  5. 5). If you are unable to send your ITR V, you can send signed copy to us through email and we will send on your behalf at minimal cost.

  6. 6). Once signed copy of ITR-V reaches the Income Tax Dept, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail from IT dept confirming receipt of your      signed ITR-V.

  7. 7). Email can be expected within a one month of sending ITR V. With this ITR filing process will be complete. Please save it as a confirmation              e-mail for any future requirements.

1) Please use Ink Jet /Laser printer to print the ITR-V Form.

2) ITR-V Form should be printed only in black ink.

3) Do not use any other ink option to print ITR V.

4) Use of Dot Matrix printer should be avoided.

5) Ensure that print out is clear and not light print/faded copy.

6) Please do not print any water marks on ITR-V. The only permissible watermark is that of Income tax Department which is printed automatically on       each ITR V.

7) The document that is mailed to CPC should be signed in original.

8) Photocopy of signatures will not be accepted.

9) The signatures or any handwritten text should not be written on Bar code.

10) Bar code and numbers below barcode should be clearly visible.

11) Only A4 size white paper should be used.

12) Avoid typing anything at the back of the paper.

13) Perforated paper or any other size paper should be avoided.

14) Do not use stapler on ITR V acknowledgement.

15) In case you are submitting original and revised returns, do not print them back to back. Use two separate papers for printing ITR-Vs separately.

16) Please do not submit any annexure, covering letter, pre stamped envelopes etc. along with ITR-V.

17) ITR-V form is required to be sent to Post Bag No.1, Electronic City Post Office, Bengaluru, Karnataka-560100, by ordinary post or Speed Post.

18) ITR-Vs that do not conform to the above specifications may get rejected or acknowledgement of receipt may get delayed.
